Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy
Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy is a rare autoimmune condition in which the immune system damages the protective coating of the peripheral nerves. It causes gradual weakness, numbness and tingling, usually in the arms and legs, over at least two months. Treatment includes steroids, immunoglobulin infusions and plasma exchange, and many people improve with ongoing care.

How many clinical trials are available for Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy?
RareWays currently indexes 82 clinical trials for Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy, of which 23 are actively recruiting. These counts cover indexed trials across countries, not just your country. An Australian site does not necessarily mean that site is recruiting. Check locations, eligibility and current availability with the study team.
Where does the research data for Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy come from?
RareWays aggregates research from PubMed, Europe PMC, OpenAlex, and ClinicalTrials.gov. Data is refreshed automatically every day. All articles and trials link directly to their original sources.
